Science Fair

Like every year since 2014 , this June we will celebrate the science fair with our fifth and sixth graders.
This is a competitive event where our students answer scientific questions based on hypothesis.
Our goals remain the same: awaken scientific curiosity in the Students and promote a  environment where they could express themselves in real English .
Our science fair is not an exhibit or a mere display of projects.
Our students choose a  scientific question they would like to answer. Then, their on research with the help of the teachers provides the information they need to formulate a hypothesis. After writing a report they Will present their science project results in the form of a display board following the scientific method, together with the models they Will have created.
Furthermore, they also explain them to the fair judges and to the visitors in English language. This allow us to provide them with opportunities to express themselves practising the four skills in a real environment.
We think that this is one of the BEST learning experiences our students could take.
